A Brief Update

So, in this week's video we were able to express some of our future plans, hopes and dreams, as well as what it will take to make those things a reality. Essentially, we're begging for money.

Hold on! Hold on. There's a reason! See... we're a small YouTube channel currently and there are a lot of things that we want to do. You've heard us talk about the scary movie we want to create as well as web-series and other video content, but we also want to create other things. We have a bunch of dice that will, very soon, be on sell here. They're lovely little sets of polyhedral dice for games like Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder, but we also want to create a game ourselves.

We're currently working on creating a brand new tabletop RPG, similar to the ones mentioned above, but one that will incorporate a brand new dice mechanic, as well as a new leveling system, never-before seen in this type of game. We've already been through the first Alpha testing stage for this particular project and the game has gone back in to development to better stream-line the play process, as well as create a more uniform rule-set. The goal of this game is to be a non-threatening and simple entry point into the world of tabletop RPG's.

Also in development is a brand new dungeon-crawling board game. The two games are at very similar points in their development but the board game should be the first ready for release.

We'd love to be able to give you all more information on both of these projects, but until we've been able to apply for trademarks and copyrights, we unfortunately can't. This is why we need some of this initial financing, so that we can release names and images of the things that we're working on, while remaining legally protected.

Of course, these are only two of our current projects. We're working on obtaining a filming space that can be better suited to what we truly want to do, as well as equipment to film with. We need things like capture cards and audio/video boards to be able to bring to you a live show, whether our weekly YouTube show or a live playthrough of the games currently in development. These funds will also provide us the means to build sets for our sci-fi and fantasy webseries that we would like to do in the near future.

So here's how we're breaking things down: Our GoFundMe page, and the profits from it, are going to be used for big, one-time purchases, such as video equipment or initial production costs for games. Our Patreon page, and the funds from that, are going to be used for ongoing costs, such as studio space, this website, and maybe... just maybe... a paycheck for us, to make all of this work a little more worthwhile.

We also wanted to take a moment to thank all of the YouTuber's and Twitch streamers who've been trying to help us spread that Orc Love here recently. There's a good chance that one of them sent you here, so be a pal and go check out and subscribe to the others. They're great folks who've lent a huge helping hand to getting us where we're at now.

One last thing. We'd like to extend a big welcome to the newest member of the Orc Rogues team, Kalybe!
